Sorry, should have said - Green Gas. I'm not really into electric stuff.

Awesome fun guns those, I'm sure you will enjoy it.
They do (did ?) have something of a rep for unreliability partly deserved because of crud getting into the open bolt, the crazy ROF cracking the original bolts and (from distant memory) the pre NS2 versions don't respond well to having the magazine inserted with the bolt closed which is totally avoidable when you know not to. NS2 may have fixed that.
Not sure why it ever had semi, who would want that option when you could just parrrppp.. the whole magazine in about that long?
Accuracy wasn't a strong point but who cares? It's a hoot to shoot!

I think the reliability has been sorted but it's still an absolute no no to put a mag in when the bolt isn't cocked. You don't aim for targets with this, you cut them in half!

I "replaced" mine with an MP7 fairly soon after TM brought their AEP variant out. More reliable being electric, more usable rof, easier to old on target with no recoil, lighter magazines, no gas to carry... win every which way you look at it.
So its sort of funny that after the initial honeymoon period with the new gun I found myself unconciously picking the Mac off the rack and leaving the MP7.
The rate of fire is truly addictive.

Looks nice. Not seen one of them at the usual places I look. Where did you get it from?

Is that moderator a 14mm CCW? If so do you have a link to where you got it? Think one of them would look nice on my Mini UZI 👍🏻

Sorry no, not 14mm ccw. It actually screws onto the large thread at the base of the barrel visible in the OP's side and 3/4 views.
As to where it came from, it's actually from my very first spring powered airsoft bought many years back.
I think it may still be around for sale and being a bit of an old bargain basement job could be cheaper than buying a "proper" one. If I can find one online I'll pop a link.
Dave
That was easy-ish. Search for HFC SR230 G Saying out of stock though.

The moderator thread is a very unusual size - 5/8" x 11tpi.

Ah, I need a 14mm for mine but looking for something chunky. It's hard to judge them from websites it's a shame there are no proper shops where you can go and have a look. I have one that a member made for me on 3D printer at the moment. It looks good but I am thinking a bit more girth (waits patiently for Modski66 comment)
