Been shooting air guns since I was 14 (1984), a variety of springers and pump ups and when co2 finally came off ticket started down that route too. About half my collection are co2 rifles and the rest older type springers but over the last 3 or 4 years replica pistols have started to make an appearance. It started off with the Webley vi, then a Baikal Makarov took up residence followed by a Crosman TT (Tokarev) that has a blowback set of seals fitted. Finally took charge of a Swiss Arms 1911 last week which at the moment is stripped down and being respayed so is hang up in the shed in its component bits ready for 'wear' to be finished and lacquered. I like the older more iconic type of pistols so nothing modern going in the cabinet. Next one (if cheap) will probably be revolver of the western style. I came here by offchance by seeing the link on CaptDar's avatar on AGF2 and recognise a few others from there and possibly the UBC. So Hello All....................dom

Welcome dom, I'm with you on the older style pistols. Lots of brilliant ageing and modifying by members on here (not me), reckon you'll enjoy it.

welcome dom if you like co2 replicas then you are definately in the right place here, if as you say you would like a western style pistol next i would recomend the Umarex Colt SAA It is one of my favourite pistols along with its big brother ... the Umarex Winchester shell ejecting rifle...And as they both use the same shells its a bonus happy browsing

That's you all set now cinimod, you've now got full access to the ' members only' sections (the 'Saloon' and the 'Bargain Basement'), feel free to have a 'mosey' around and post where ever you want. We're a friendly bunch of guys, so feel free to ask any questions you want and we'll do our very best to help you out. If you're wanting to post any photographs to the forum then your best bet is to have a picture hosting account with one of the many FREE websites that are available (Flickr, Postimage, imgbb, etc.), they'll give you a BBCode link to any of your pictures which you simply just 'paste' into your post. If you're needing any more information on posting pictures to the forum then go HEREAll that's left is to officially welcome you to the forum, so... Please be aware, this is STRICTLY a REPLICA airgun forum, we do not allow anything other than that on this forum. Please bear this in mind for all of your future posts, comments and threads. Any failure to follow this rule will lead to a warning, Jail time or even a permanent ban (and not necessarily in that order).

Thank you for the warm welcome, it seems a friendly place which is good. I'm a member of a couple of other forums and all you get is a couple of hellos in reply to an introductory post (if you're lucky) 🙄..........dom

You're also very unlikely to see any of the nastiness that appears on some of the other forums. There might be the odd argument over whether or not the chiappa rhino is a hideous monstrosity or a work of art, but that's usually about it .
