Thanks. The top (green) one is the airsoft gun, green gas in the mag, select fire. I fitted the suppressor so the look fitted the sound, if that makes sense? Love its ability to go full auto and shred a milk or orange carton. Bottom one is one of the limited run Brocock converted Rap4 paintball guns firing .177bb. Sadly but sensibly it doesn't need BB carrier cases that it then ejects and you have to find. It is of course single shot only. Oh you've not lived until you spent 20 minutes on your knees mooching around the lawn (with grass past your ankles) looking for a bloody ejected brass shell from a Winchester. You learn pretty quickly to catch them in mid air as they get thrown from the gun, lol

Hmm... I'll say you're right based on the cost of the Umarex cases but, I reckon my old RAP mp5 paintball on full auto showering shell cases with that delicious "ting" as they land on the patio slabs and roll everywhere would run you a close second.

Or......invent a 'Ejected Shell Picker-Upper Thus Negating The Need For Bending Over Or Kneeling Scratching About Looking For The Damn Things' like what I did. I was easy to invent, a tad harder to come up with a catchy title for but, I think I've sorted that now.

Or... get yourself one of the earlier 8-shot magazine fed not shell ejecting versions.
The down sides being you miss out on the theater of the spinning shells or have to bulid a brass catcher and come up with a catchy name for it.

You can't beat either version.

You can't beat either version. Agreed, both have their merits so where possible it's best to have both in the collection 👍🏻

In that case I'm a lucky boy as I do happen to have a rifle length version of the original 2x12g version, which personally I think looks better than the later 88g update, no idea if theres any functional advantage to either apart from less "refuelling".
Do like that case you've made. Sometime I need to see how far my limited woodworking skills can stretch to make something similar. In my head I have a picture of a larger version of a more old school fitted pistol case, felt lined, compartments for storage rather than the foam. Spaces for the Winchester, a SAA, shells, CO2 (hidden) and maybe a Derringer, if I could find an air, rather than airsoft, option.
Then rinse and repeat but with something more modern like M4, MP5 & Sig but do it in a Peli.
Time, money, skills...

I agree that the original version looks much better, that big butt-pad really spoils the overall appearance. (IMHO)
Western style guns are not my thing really, but the original Walther Winchester would be one I would consider buying if something came up at the right price.
But only after I have got a Smith and Wesson 79g, which is my next intend purchase.

Best o' luck buddy, I've been looking for a reasonably priced one for about three years now and have had no luck whatsoever ! They all seem to want silly money for them when they come up for sale, generally using the tired old ' rare, highly collectable and much sought after' statement somewhere in the sales pitch
