So I was searching for some information and as I scrolled down the page of results I saw "Replica Airgun Forum"
Sounds good, what could go wrong? A dodgy link to some dodgy "ladies living locally", the opportunity to help some ousted Nigerian prince and make a fortune myself just by sending a few quid up front?
All of a sudden I found myself reading a thread about the Umarex Cowboy rifle, "I've got one of those" I thought. Further brief poking around and I notice folks talking about Umarex SAA's, other CO2 guns, a bit of airsoft.
Feels like someones been looking at my toy cupboard.
So I signed up.
I'm Dave, I live near Leicester, I'm a big kid who's fortunate enough to have a wife who is very tolerant of my toys. I've spent far too much money on things like CO2 airguns and airsoft, when I die please don't let the boss sell my stuff for what I told her I paid for it.
I also "do" model trains and I'm at the point that if I can get it in the house without being caught I can hide it amongst the other stuff and swear I've had it for ages.
Dave

That's you all set now daveb2, you've now got full access to the ' members only' sections (the 'Saloon' and the 'Bargain Basement'), feel free to have a 'mosey' around and post where ever you want. We're a friendly bunch of guys, so feel free to ask any questions you want and we'll do our very best to help you out. If you're wanting to post any photographs to the forum then your best bet is to have a picture hosting account with one of the many FREE websites that are available (Flickr, Postimage, imgbb, etc.), they'll give you a BBCode link to any of your pictures which you simply just 'paste' into your post. If you're needing any more information on posting pictures to the forum then go HEREAll that's left is to officially welcome you to the forum, so...

Howdy and welcome Dave. Nice to see another Replica Airgun enthusiast here. Grab a drink and peruse the forum. You will find a multitude of photos, tech tips, reviews and just good old banter here.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
I'll be taking a look around shortly. Probably need to take a read of the pictures "how-to" thread, I see a number of threads on different platforms where difficulty addings pics is a common theme.
I used to use photobucket but thats changed and I've never moved to another provider, maybe it's time.
My trains are G-scale, garden railway, probably bigger than your average "train set" but not ride on size. My wife goes the other way and does N, about half the size of regular 00. Yes, a two train set family!
I had one of the early gloss finish CP88's when CO2 became (re)available in the UK, way back now I guess. There's also a varied pile of airsoft stuff, I saw one thread here where someone asked if you could get airsoft rifles with recoil. Yes, try a gas in magazine rifle for smiles.

Dave I can recommend 'Postimage', as they are free, have no upload limitations and are easy enough to use.

Thanks.
The top (green) one is the airsoft gun, green gas in the mag, select fire. I fitted the suppressor so the look fitted the sound, if that makes sense? Love its ability to go full auto and shred a milk or orange carton.
Bottom one is one of the limited run Brocock converted Rap4 paintball guns firing .177bb. Sadly but sensibly it doesn't need BB carrier cases that it then ejects and you have to find. It is of course single shot only.
