RFD endorsements, my favourite topic Shaun,
Well my RFD is Kirklees Guns in Huddersfield, it is actually 1.6miles from my front door to their door, probably a bit too close if i'm honest, i can nip out in my lunch break & be back in my office{home} in under 30mins !!
However i don't just use them for convenience i use them because they are quite simply the best gun shop i have been to or dealt with, prices are obviously a driving factor & their prices are on the whole cheaper than anywhere else in Yorkshire, not just West Yorkshire, the whole of Yorkshire.!!
I have been dealing with KG for about 6 years, ever since i became a born again Air Gunner, over the years i have spent thousands of pounds with them, in 2021 i have spent nearly £800 so far, although this was brought about because of my pistol cull on AGF a few weeks ago, so i like to think i am a good customer & we have respect for each other which is how it should be in any retail enviroment irrespective of what a shop sells
I have tried a few other RFD's in West Yorkshire but they do not measure up to KG for price, availability & good 'ol customer service, now at the risk of going on too much about 'my' RFD they know me, i know them, simple as that really.
I come to a bit of a crossroads lately with lockdown etc., i have not been out shooting since early October, my gun locker has 6 rifles in & none have been used since, so one positive thing that has come out of it, i have refocused my attention to Co2 guns, in particular anything to do with WW2 so KG will be seeing me on & off over 2021 for more guns, i say anything related to WW2 but anything else that catches my attention, i particularly like the look of the Crosman R1 which is basically a DPMS Panther Arms SBR, while i think on, i have ordered a Webley Nemesis X which looks very interesting, i got an email from KG yesterday advising it should be in stock for me Friday.
So i make no apologies for 'gushing' on about Kirklees Guns, it's my favourite shop, not just because i get a good deal, i can keep my hobby going as long as i can afford it, plus it also keeps me sane.
My wife think's i'm barking Mad
Graeme.
