I got quite excited by a review of another BB rifle, in full auto. Then I realise we can't have that here, even in BB form. š”
Looks nice from here but not my cup of tea...

I've read before that the Umarex version isn't as heavy, so likely has more plastic parts. It's not got the same kick in the blowback and is generally not as well made as the KWC version. This is just what I've read though as I was thinking of getting one a while back. I would love one, I just think if I whip out an UZI the Mrs is going to think I've gone too far...

The KWC/Cybergun version is a solid robust gun but the main difference for me are the magazines, the KWC has a full sized metal mag whereas the Umarex one is almost like a stick mag with a lump on the bottom to make it look the part when it's in the gun If you go on youtube and search for a Canadian youtuber called 'Replica Airguns', he has a few videos relating to the KWC Uzi that are very informative and worth watching, especially if you're genuinely interested in getting one.

Airsoft you can have full auto fun I don't think I'll ever bother with airsoft. I associate AS with my childhood... I had airsoft guns as a kid. Some sort of spring pistol, and a green BB Mac-10. We used to shoot AS with friends with no protection whatsoever. I know. That's the 80s in Hong Kong for you... So AS to me are toys. Give me pellet and steel/copper coated BBs any day!

Shouldnāt feel that way about them i think, Iām new to them and only ever started looking due to wanting a garden AR15 and frankly the airgun versions are awful, my airsoft one not only is built well, itās full auto too, plus obviously safer in the garden Plus there seems to be a bigger and better range in airsoft to choose from, that said if a certain gun has a pellet version Iād choose that

Gas powered Airsoft are a world away from the old springers - I've got a green gas Glock and a full auto MAC 10 that will both shred a tin can quite happily. And then the more modern CO2 ones (Dan Wessons etc) are too powerful to even skirmish with so make for fun plinkers too.

I don't bother with airsoft either but guess what.....? The quality on some of them far surpasses our 4.5mm versions. I have a lovely airsoft SIG P229 that oozes build quality and is the same weight as the real thing too. But saying that, plastic BB's are pants.
