Here’s my Colt holster, I just need to source a suitable belt for it. The leather belt I had just don’t look right but I’ll get it sorted eventually.

Haven’t yet acquired a decent gun belt, but I did have a redundant.410 cartridge belt. I removed the loops as they were to big and riveted a piece back on to suit the six spare shells I have. It’s not to bad looking in my opinion and will do until I get another.

Bit of a problem today whilst chasing bad guys, I found the Colt could slip out of its holster far too easily. Cut a thin strip of leather, punched a couple of tiny holes in holster. Hey presto a secure SAA. The added bonus is that it’s now impossible to accidentally cock the hammer whilst it’s held by the leather strip. It’s also very quick and easy to slip of the hammer when you need to shoot some nasty tin can.

Yeah I mentioned how to do this the other week to another member who accidentally dropped his gun on a tiled floor and loosened his barrel, it's an easy modification to make to any holster and leaves your gun really secure in the holster. Nice job buddy
