This is my first Chrono testing session on the Webley MKV1 .22 I was using RWS Super-H-Point 14.2 grn pellets. Unfortunately I don’t have and light weight pellets and only other were 16grn JSB. So I know many people have been speculating about this new pistol’s performance stats but I am very pleasantly surprised by what it achieved this morning. Shooting in the garage with ambient temperature of 11 degC and resting a few seconds between each shot with obviously longer between reloads. As I was using my Chrombo mkiv attached to the barrel I was also able to chance accuracy. I did a mixture of two hand, single hand and rested and enough to say that apart from poi 1” left of poa at 6 yards, groupings are excellent with two handed all within a 1/2” and rested nearly Pellet on pellet but certainly covered by a Dime. I need to try something with the barrel to bring it shooting poa/poi. With a new capsule is managed 66 shots with drop off from shot 60. Overall consistency is very good. Chrono listing below and three shots were ‘bad’. FPS. FTLBS. 6-shot avg. Running avg 1. 288. 2.67 2. 316. 3.14 3. 295. 2.74 4. 294. 2.72 5. 305. 2.93 6. 317. 3.16. 302.5. 2.99 7. That's not bad at all David, far better than I was expecting, especially considering the weight of the pellets you were using I'd like to see the accuracy results at 10 & 20m (curiosity more than anything) but it certainly looks more than capable at accurate tin can plinking at the more common used 5-8m sort of range. Thanks for posting the results, interesting data indeed

Yes I’m really happy with the outcome. It blows my 177 away at can bashing and metal knockdowns. Once I get some Hobbies I’ll run another test and some longer range accuracy. I kind of wish all my revolvers we’re 22 cal and with decent fps and handling the larger pellets is a lot easier for me.

Very interesting information.
I am now pretty sure with those figures that they have not done anything to the valve used in the 0.177 models.

I've always been concerned about using heavier pellets in my replicas but this has shown that maybe that fear was unfounded and I should have a go with some heavier pellets.
Everyday's a school day

I recently tried a sample of JSB Monsters .177 (13.43 gns) in my Schofields and they were great at my plinking range for destroying tin cans. Knocked them well into next week. Hard hitting power. Not as accurate as my faves, the Econ 2's.

Don’t know yet as I have eaten any beans recently 😆
