I love this pistol and it would take serious money to make me sell this one. It is quite a powerful beast with strong blowback. And it goes right through a proper bean tin. Another quite thirsty on the co2 though. But that's fine with me. And with the wood grips I got for it. But I prefer the standard ones for their colour to be honest.

You’ve picked up some beautiful replicas over your life & times Bill. Always a pleasure looking through them. Trouble is they make me want to buy even more guns. I’m dying to start a western collection. I watched True Grit earlier with Jeff Bridges. It seem like I only bought the film a short while ago and yet it’s twelve years old already! Scary how time goes past so quick. Ah well I shall continue to gaze at the weaponry and dream a dream of starting a new collection.

This is nice! Those original grips look great too, lovely colouring to them.
Did you have to carve out the rear of the grips on your wooden ones for the CO2 expanded metal or were these pre-done?
I just picked up a cheap set from ANT supplies for £15 posted. They arrived today and quality seems decent for the price. I am planning to stain them in rosewood as the Teak is a shade to light for my tastes. If that doesn't work out then they are getting Krylon'd

Yes I carved a bit out of the inside if the wood grips using a dremel.
