Hi all,
Thanks for the invite Mark aka Modski66. Hello all!
A quick intro then. I'm Adrian, from Nottingham, and I'm a (air)gun addict.
I starting target shooting almost 6 years ago now, after deciding to get myself an air rifle for Christmas. (I have no idea why!). Decided soon after that I probably shouldn't be shooting in the garden, so joined a club only 15 mins drive from me. After only 2 months, the chairman ask me if I want to have a go at prone target rifle. I thought "why not!", and it just went down hill from there...
Shot Prone TR for about 2 years, got my average to about 96 at one point. Then I discovered Gallery Rifle, and slowly moved away from TR. I was close to joining the England team for pistol, then Covid struck.
With air guns, I never really got into it until recently. I did have a CP1, a Beeman P17, a Weihrauch HW45 and a Umarex Desert Eagle at one point. Then I moved completely to rimfire, and recently centrefire. Only moved back to air pistols as I am now a NRA-UK qualified club coach for Langar Rifle Club, and I will be training new members on self-loading rimfires, underlevers and pistols/revolver.
With our stupid firearm law, one can't officially touch another person's pistol/revolver unless it has been registered on their FAC. This makes training difficult if not impossible, and they why I bought my first 2 replica (DW 715 6" and Ux SA-10)... and now (since end of Oct 2020):
DW715 6"
DW715 2.5"
SW686 6"
Ux SA-10
Ruger Mk 2 (KJW)
Walther CP88 Comp
Colt 1911 (Umarex Pellet)
Mauser M712 (KWC)
Artemis CP400 (now decommissioned)
CP-1 (with my brother)
Desert Eagle (with my brother and is coming home soon)
I like to fiddle with my guns, and try my very best not to break them in the process...
I'm more into target shooting (but not the boring 10m precision type), and will be using my pistols for the UBC Comps (at least for this season) and Gallery Rifle air pistol comp (which is running on FB if anyone is interested).
That's me for now. Any questions?
