Hi everyone,
I am looking to fit a laser under my Glock, I bought a cheap one online, the fit is the correct width, but not deep enough, I hope this makes sense, the bracket does not wrap around the rail, I am sorry if this is a stupid question, what type of mount should I be looking for ? Many thanks in advance,
Steve.

Hi Steve, you should be looking for a fitment for a 20mm Picatinny Rail.

I actually thought that Glocks use the standard picatinny/weaver/tactical rail mount, in fact I'm sure they are. Most of those cheap tactical rail lasers come in the standard 'tactical rail' size, so unless you've bought a non standard fitting laser mount it should fit.
The mount does need to be undone completely to be fitted correctly, as they don't just slip on.

Picatinny has square notches.
Weaver has round notches.
The spacing between the notches are also different. You can fit weaver mount onto picatinny rail but not the other way round.
Most modern (tactical) guns have picatinny rail.
And both are 20mm.
