The M17 in 4.5mm was another one of those replicas (the P-09 being the other) that I liked the look of but didn't like its function. So when 6mm opened its arms the M17 was top of the hit list. It took a while to find in stock (seems to be common these days) so when I found one I snapped it up. My favourite feature (apart from the great trigger and grip) and which makes it a bit different is the way it replicates the removable fire control group. The 17 and 18 share the same lower so mags are useable in both. And there is even a CO2 mag available if you wish (i did to try it) not that they need it.

They're lovely looking guns, I can see why you wanted one. I've never been very keen on the Sig M17 in 4.5mm but after seeing those pictures I understand why, the AS version looks far better, cleaner lines and better functioning parts, it's a great quality replica ! Thanks for sharing buddy

I have the M17 4.5mm but the 6mm Co2 is high on my list. Great pics again.

I'd swap out the 4.5mm for the 6mm in a heartbeat There's certainly a lot of very good quality replicas in the AS format, okay they are more expensive than their 4.5mm counterparts but ultimately you get what you pay for. I must admit to be slowly coming around to the idea of collecting AS replicas if only because of their sheer quality but the price is still a bit daunting tbh.

I normally find the AS versions cheaper than the AG versions.
The M17 and M18 in AS are around £160 each.
The M18 came from firesupport a couple of months ago when they had a batch of 17 and 18s come in. The 17 was from high pressure Airsoft a bit before that as it was the only shop I could find with stock.
They even do black versions if the tan is not your thing.
The manufacturer is VFC.

I’m waiting for somebody to restock the Co2 in either black or tan.

Bad timing as I’m short of gun funds at the moment.

Your photos are amazing mate, any chance of sharing your setup for gun photography? Thanks. I'm using a DSLR with 50 1.8 lens and a cheap off camera flash. Nothing fancy. I could do with coming up with something new as all my pics have been using the same format for a while now.

Looks like JD Airsoft has just had some M18's come into stock if you check the new in page.
