Well, here i am & glad to be on this new forum, so a bit about me i suppose, as side hobby from my Air Rifles, Co2 Pistols have been a bit of a hobby for about 5 years now, having amassed a good collection of about 10 pistols of an eclectic mix, basically anything that catches my eye, i admit i am a bit impulsive & generally seize the moment as & when i can afford.
However i sold off all my original collection about 3 years ago to fund the purchase of a Weihrauch HW100 & from there built up another collection this type with a Western theme, having had the urge to by a Daystate Air Rifle, i sold the HW100 & all my Western gear & Pistols to purchase my dream Rifle which i now have
So yet another eclectic collection of Co2 Pistols & revolver's steadily built up, as of 2 weeks ago i had 12, some of which i had forgotten about!! so 2 weeks ago i had an impulse to change my collection again, this time to pay homage to all things WW2 so fast forward to now, i again sold off most of my modern Pistols, which gave me an opportunity to start my WW2 collection, so for the last 2 Saturday's i have purchased:
Umarex Thompson M1a1
Umarex MP40 Legacy edition
Springfield Armoury M1 Carbine. initially purchased with the plastic stock & to be honest was extremely disappointed with it, subsequently now replaced with a wood stock version, which i am now very happy with.
Webley MK6 Battlefield finish.
So that's my fledgling collection to my WW2 homage.
I do prefer revolver's if i'm honest, i like the mechanical function & operation, but Pistols will obviously play a large part for the rest of 2021, i still still have some other Co2 Revolver's/Pistol's that i wont be selling, oh & an Umarex Cowboy Rifle-because it is superb!! but i am proactively looking for WW2 Pistol's now.
So that's me ,Graeme, & my potted history so far to date.
