Some advice from the anoraks, which SAA should I get I’ve the chance of a blued bb one, I think I’d prefer the blued one to the milky bar kid edition. I like an accurate gun is the BB one OK?

Blued is nice but beware as it can rub off with use and show the brass colour underneath. Smooth bore barrels are fine using pellet shells.

I've personally found that the BB versions are more accurate than the pellet versions when firing pellets through both, seems weird but that's what I've found.

Then of course there is the extremely rare 4.3" version. PS, all mine are the pellet versions.

Apart from Umarex not making the finish nor do they make a 4.3” 😊 But you are correct in that if they did both it would sell well.

It feels great in the hand, the cylinder rotates smoothly and it has the hammer mod. It shoots great too.

Having owned pretty much all of them at one time or another, my personal preference was the aged version

Those elusive 4 3/4" Colts really do look nice ....im not a fan of chrome guns (milky bar kid always comes to mind lol)
But all size SAA's are great and in my opinion look even better with real wood grips

It's great to see so many lovely SAA pistols. My favourite is the antique finish.👍
