As most of my friends here know, I was a big collector of airsoft pistols, practically all of them were all steel guns. Apart from the Desert Eagle which I still have, all the others I sold as I changed to target air pistol a few years ago. Thinking back my collection was dominated by 1911’s, various finishes, barrel lengths. I did have a Sig 226 as well, but that was about it. Anyway now my airsoft interest has been re-kindled, I have made it a mission to find more unusual pistols, but they aren’t just for looking at, and have to shoot well. The Hudson H9 was the first, loved it’s look, hated it shot so low. Now sold to a guy for skirmishing, for which it will be ideal. This pistol, the Archon Type B firearms training pistol will be the replacement. A few screenshots to be going on with.

That's definitely an unusual gun there Doug and one that I'm not familiar with at all ( I know ! Shock ! Horror!). Reminds me of the Springfield XDm a little but the contours of the slide are very unusual indeed. Like the Hudson 9 it looks like the barrel sits lower into the frame as well.

Yes it does sit lower like the Hudson. Have tried one and it shot well. Not sure which colour option to go far, like them both.

Awesome 1911s here mate, I particularly like the one second from bottom Thanks, managed to get a set of wartime type wood grips from Brownalls, which were a perfect fit. It’s the one pistol I still see as a friend in my club bought it. It’s an Inoksatu all steel pistol.

I can’t remember exactly what I paid, in the region of £600 I think, which for an all steel airsoft pistol was quite good. Some were considerable more. Don’t know if they are still available, certainly not seem them in the U.K. for ages. Maybe still with the Hong Kong retailers. I believe cybergun purchased Inoksatu. They also made a stainless steel series 70, I will dig out a picture. My friend did ask me if I would sell it for him last year, but he has since decided to keep it.

It looks like the king of the 1911 replicas though to be fair so price tag justified. Let me know if your friend ever decides he wants to move it on

£600! 🤯
A GSG 1911 in LBP form sells for just under 400 new.
There are 1911s, and then there are 1911s. I know Kimber makes the Rolls Royces of real 1911. I guess this is an airsoft equivalent. 🤷🏻♂️
Thr GSG 1911 is like a Ford Fiesta of 1911 / LBP in the UK scene. Cheap and cheerful. Does the job for not a lot of money.

The first picture, the stainless pro raptor, was the most beautifully made pistol I ever owned, it was better built and machined than any real steel pistol I had ever had. It was not a Co2 pistol when I purchased it, and never worked well on the small 1911 gas mag it came with. In the end I had it converted to Co2, then it worked well. The quality of the steel was fantastic. The same guy made my Desert Eagle.
