Finally managed to get print copies of these two books. I'm something of a collector of handgun books. I'll post recommedations every now and again.
For those not familiar Massad Ayoob is one of best gun writers of the current generation (that said he's 75 now). He's tried, carried and competed with most handguns. These are compilation of his thoughts on the greatest handguns. I had the digital versions before. The illustrations in these books are great. No the usual glossy but disappointing books.
Digital copies are in the file section of anyone interested.

I've collected a few books myself but had never heard of Massad Ayoob. I wish I had the time to read the books I have. I also need a quiet room with no distractions, dont know when that will happen though.

I’ll find out what he has, I know they will be in good condition as he’s very careful with everything he owns. Unfortunately age and downsizing has come around for him.

We must be reading the same books Ian, lol. That's my bedside book at the moment Massad Ayoob is a legend in the field of handguns, even went over to teach the Israeli Special forces how to use them more effectively during the 70's, what he doesn't know ain't worth knowing. I'll try to take some pictures of my books over the next day or two and post them up, I've some original out of print books from the 1880s to 1930s on handguns that do make for some great reading.

Great minds Shaun. Taught the SAS here too, and US Army training is based on his Stressfire methods.

Hi Ian, if you could post up a shortcut to the digital file copy for other members that would be great buddy

This chap certainly knows his firearms. Just found these on the bay. All from the states though, so postage is high. Bet there's others too.
