Just a thing of beauty your Triumph bike is It is nice to see such classics have come back again. I have heard that Norton are back in business again is that True?. I remember sitting on the path cleaning my bike Solvol Autosol many years ago cleaning my first Bike Francis Barnett 197cc it looked great after using that cream on the alloy bits etc. Oh Happy Days It is nearly 21 years old Eric. So it's not new. And thanks for your compliments. And yes there is something about the relaxation while polisheing engine cases and listening to some Black Sabbath.

Yep, what Shaun says. That is the only Solvol Autosol I have ever used and I have had a tube in my garage for as long as I can remember. I do the engine cases on my Triumph Thunderbird with the stuff. Lovely, classic bike, Bill. Admire your taste in that, but not your choice of music! Instrumentally, 'Black Sabbath' are OK.....but Ozzy Osbourne's voice!! He always sounds to me like he's singing in a different (farther away) room than the rest of the band is in and someone's doing a good job of strangling him. "Prince of Darkness?" bo**ocks!

How about some Boston, Meatloaf, Creedence Clearwater Revival or sometimes when I am in the mood, the Lez Zep?

Two-Tone for me, and the bike would be a Vespa. Not that I have ever owned one, but my dad had one, and it has been the only two-wheeled vehicle with an engine that I have ever been on! The Specials in 2016.

The Specials in 2016. Vespa.......that's a scooter not a motorcycle...... Is this the Mandela effect or what? I am pretty convinced that Vespa was a make of ladies panty pads back in the day.

The Specials in 2016. The last time I saw them was back in 2019, my brother and I went to see them in Scunthorpe. I was so upset when they didn't include 'Ghost Town' in the set but it did bring back some great memories; the bouncy halcyon days of Ska, Rude Boys and Two Tone, it was great. RIP Terry Hall

The gig in the pictures was at Rock City in Nottingham, their first performance back in the UK after an American tour. Someone shoved me through the crowd until I was right at the front, just a few feet away from Terry. R.I.P. Indeed... 😢

Wasn't Terry Hall formerly in 'Fun Boy 3?' It was one of his projects, but the Specials were, er, special...

Thought so! He had great hair and unique facial expressions, didn't he?
