That’s interesting. Will you have to alter the valve to give more power for a .22 pellet.

That’s interesting. Will you have to alter the valve to give more power for a .22 pellet. Don’t know yet. I’ve got some lovely 6 mm steel balls that weight 15.9 grains so I’m going to see how they shoot. The .22 pellets I use are 11.9 grains.

I been shooting the Schofield with a variety of bb weights. 0.25 gave a healthy average of 370 fps / 1.2 ftlbs and was hitting cans at 20 yards. The polished steel BBs at 1 grams 15.9 grains only averaged 180 fps / 0.28 ftlbs. Shells are low powered front loading with restricted rear opening.

I believe this pistol is available in .177 pellet as well, no doubt more expensive though.
