Decided yesterday to go for it and purchase a Gletcher Tokarev. Despite the dealers website saying 'in stock' they didn't have any (I should have phoned). Never mind, now I don't know why but, I have developed an unhealthy desire to go down the Glock route. So, to the more knowledgeable, which one is most recommended? Be it pellet, BB,duel ammo. Over to you folks.

Right, I will point out that I don't own a Glock but if I was to buy one it would be the G17 gen4 (BB blowback) BUT I did get one to try from another member that I had to repair for him, I pitted it against a H&K USP (BB blowback) and the Glock failed miserably, when compared to the USP it lacked weight, sounded tinny, was inaccurate at 7m and didn't feel anywhere near as solid in the hand. So my favourite Glock would be the H&K USP (BB blowback)....lol or the G17 gen4

I like your answer as I have considered the H&K USP. Perhaps it's a case of the Glock receiving too much publicity.

I went for the dual ammo, because I prefer the option to fire pellets. The main club I attend mostly shoots rifles using 0.22-LR, but I occasionally go bell-target shooting, and steel bb's are not allowed at either venue.
Having said that, I have hardly used the Glock since I bought it because I have a bad habit of buying too many airguns when I really don't have the time to use them! I need to thin out my collection, which is proving difficult because I enjoy owning them, but I think the Glock is one that I have got least attachment for, so that will be advertised as soon as I can dig it out and take some pictures.

Not everyone is keen on AAR's reviews but this could be worth a watch to help you decide. He's reviewed pretty much all the Glock models on his channel

If you want most realistic replica, then Umarex Glock 17 gen 4 is hard to beat. Next best is Umarex Glock 19X in my opinion, it very close to 9mm one in looks and weight, but doesn't filed strip as a real thing and slide goes only half way back. They are BB, dual ammo lacks in realism in my opinion except for revolvers.

I understand your dilemma Modski66, I am in the same boat. My Modus operandi has been one out. One in. But, I don't have anything I want out so one in would be one too many. Hope that makes sense.

He's reviewed pretty much all the Glock models on his channel Yeah, true enough but he never said one bad thing about any of them ! But then again he never actually says anything bad about anything he reviews, he's a 'blue sky' reviewer (everything is great, everything is simply smashing, everything deserves one of his cringy nods with a cheery wink and the customary de-facto statement 'I was pleasantly surprised by it'). I'm beginning to think that he's not a true reviewer, just a shill for some RFD somewhere and whose only interest is in generating sales, I could be wrong......

You need bigger balls for it but the .43cal T4E is probably the best G17 CO2 replica.
