So I have plenty of pistols, and a couple of SMG's. Currently I only have the Cowboy rifle.
What options are there for CO2 rifles (preferably assault rifle) so I can add scope etc, that fire 1.77 pellets.

Theres this one from Dai leisure Sig Sauer MCX Co2 Air Rifle from Sig Sauer is a high quality, double action air rifle that fires .177 air gun pellets. They are made by the same people who manufacture the real firearms, therefore they are very realistic, and very good quality. The MCX takes a 30 shot magazine that can be fired off as quickly as you can pull the trigger, and with the rifled barrel the accuracy is superb. The pellets are propelled by Co2 gas which is provided through an 88g cylinder for a massive shot count. A multitude of weaver rails are also installed to allow you to mount scopes, lasers, and torches to your hearts content. Approx Muzzle Energy - 4 ft/lbs

I love my SIG Canebrake Rattler .177 pellet. Heavy and well made and more powerful than the MCX and MPX versions.

So I've had a quick look, Sig appears to produce the MPX, MCX and MCX canebrake (rattler?) about £80 between the cheapest and most expensive. Looks like the magazine is the same across all three and easier to load than the PPQ Mk2 I have, which is a win!
Is the suppressor/compensator on the MCX versions actually functioning or just a shroud for the barrel
Hard to get direct comparisons between the different MCX versions. Is the shorter canebrake actually the more powerful rifle?

Is the shorter canebrake actually the more powerful rifle? The silencers are just for looks. The Canebrake is more powerful. Around 8ftlbs power with 7 grain lead pellets. The MCX and MPX are closer to 5ftlbs in power.

I only have my favourites now. Surprised you selling the Canebrake though, I find these pellet rifles much better than the BB assault rifles in use.

Had a lot of fun over the weekend. Really like the magazine, much easier to load than I was expecting, shame it's not a metal case though. Not used an 88g, I have the Walther 2x12g which works fine and I get just short of 4 mags (100-110 shots), also picked up the 1x12g which gets me about 45 shots. Didn't find a scope I liked at the weekend so popped a red dot on instead to see if I could group it. 10m standing with the rifle shouldered. I can see me spending many productive hours with this gun over the summer
