Has anyone come across anywhere to get ladder sights for their Walther Lever-action or Umarex Cowboy rifles?
My Wells Fargo came with one and I just assumed it was standard with that finish, but having seen others with the plastic sights it clearly isn't.
So I had a search online and the only ones I could find were stupidly expensive reproductions in either Australia or the US, $150 upwards in either country. I'd like some for my Cowboy rifle but not at that price.

Have you got any pictures of the ladder sight on your rifle? I would also like to address the plastic sight of my Walther Winchester (when I get it!) and have encountered the same problems as you. Not necessarily the ladder one, but something made of metal would be a great improvement.

Here we go Mark Not the best photos I’m afraid, awkwardly trying to balance the rifle while aiming my phone. Can take some more in the daylight and take them off the rifle for a better view tomorrow.

The cowboy rifle sights are metal, but sadly much slimmer and smalller than the lever action so not interchangeable. I did pick up some original front and rear sights off ebay a while back, I’ll dig them out and take some photos too.

I like those ladder sights. Never seen them for sale though.

I want, I want, I want. Funny thing is the guy I bought it from (Chopper54 on bbs) never mentioned them. And he seems to sell a lot Winchesters, so can only presume he hadn’t noticed. And I must confess I didn't realise they flipped up for quite a while after buying it. From a practical point I doubt that they’re at all necessary but I do like ‘em! Perhaps some of the more skilled metal workers among us might want to try making a set. Id be happy to take them off and get detailed photos and measurements if anyone wants to give it a go.

I think they'd struggle with the thinner parts tbh, not that I've any experience with 3d printing

Slightly eye-watering with a £90 starting bid...
