Yeah, mine has no mag. So what's the story? In all other respects the guns are the same. LOL.. Just messin with ya. I modded an airsoft m14 magazine to fit. It is just for show. But it looks good to me. Yeah, it sure does! Think I might look into doing the same! Any pointers?

Just buy an airsoft m14 mag, preferably a metal one, but plastic is fine. I made a nut insert and filled the magazine with modelling clay and araldite'd the nut. I then drilled a small hole and bolted the magazine to the stock in the correct position. I cut down my magazine as I wanted the short mag look, but some M1a's have the long magazine. Hope that is of some help.

Thanks! That is very useful. I think that the one thing missing from the appearance of the M1A is the clip. I could not figure out why they didn't include it. Thanks again.

New CYMA M14 scope mount fitted yesterday. Now the pesky terrorist won't stand a chance.

Clearance issues with the cocking lever? I think that mag has been cut down and roughly simulates a civilian 10 round mag. It looks good though! I have a bunch of G&G M14 mags in their original packaging from c. 15 years ago if anyone is interested.

The M1A is the civilian and Law enforcement version of the M14.
