wow I thought we (the family) had a lot of guns. and here's me thinking we had to many haha Guns have nothing on watches and flashlights 😂. My total air guns are 🤔22 I think. I have more than 30 G shocks alone. Flashlights wise many custom and titanium modified ones(yes that’s a thing and much bigger than air pistols…..honest) . At one point I was at over 130, but cut it back to bellow 80😂. Customs are crazy , programmable drivers, mode levels, brightness of each, all programmable. Then colour temps and high CRI(colour rendering index). Different reflectors, optics like triples, quads and mules(no reflector )it’s endless. That’s before you get into metals, ti,cu, zirc, glass zirc. Most expensive so far is a hanko trident (Jeff hanko makes them) with mother of Pearl inlays. That went for $16k….yes a torch!!! Whole other world like knives and fire arms . Many actually cross paths in the EDC(every day carry) world. 👍🏻

Bet I have a flashlight you don’t have in your collection. MSA approved safety torch for use in gassed environments. Certified for use in atmospheres containing Carbon Disulphide, Acetylene, Hydrogen, Ethylene and Pentane. Had mine from 1973 when Officers were issued with one on our tankers.

Most are modified , p60 drop in(housing for bulb) to triple and quad LED, nichia high cri etc. some over 3k lumens One of my fav customs from Don in Hawaii , the haiku. Then the head was sent to Bosnia for a triple conversion . There is a red wolf there in cost😬 image upload

Oh ones above are the surefire E1e triple modded (again sent to Bosnia ). The oveready BOSS frosted titanium (can program driver from phone or tablet, by flashing green squares, tells it what you have selected). Mcgizmo haiku, titanium 16340 flashlight from Hawaii, but modded .
I do love my US lights, elzetta , HDS and surefire .

I honestly never knew there were torch anoraks. 😂 Didn't you? Torch anoraks are special anoraks that light up in the dark. Ideal for pedestrians on a dark night.

I honestly never knew there were torch anoraks. 😂 Oh trust me , there are forums with members far exceeding any air rifle or gun club 😂. It’s a crazy world we live in, flashaholics is the name of condition 😂 Ive not bought any for a while, I’m pretty much content and done. What ever you do, don’t mention tools and power tools……..another perversion of mine😂

It’s a crazy world we live in, flashaholics is the name of condition 😂 Ive not bought any for a while, I’m pretty much content and done. What ever you do, don’t mention tools and power tools……..another perversion of mine😂 Oh yes, that's another of my weaknesses (of which there are too many, according to the wife, lol), I have a thing for old hand tools. If I go car-booting and see some really old tools in need of some TLC (renovation & restoration) I just can't seem to help myself, I just have to 'save' them, lol. I have a special love for old well made engineering tools (mostly Starrett). I spend ages restoring them, I love doing it, breathing new life into an old tool is very rewarding and these tools were so well made (compared to most modern mass produced Chinese shite) that it seems such a shame to let them go unused and unloved. And yes, I do actually use them, I won't buy anything that I'll never actually use that is my only rule when it comes to saving them. My last 'splurge' was a few years back (pre-Covid) and I went file mad, I bought loads and loads of old files, from the smallest of tiny files right up to big enormous bastard files, I managed to kit out my workshop with a complete proper wooden handled size and shape collection (flat, square, round, triangle, tapered, etc.) for less than a tenner, it took me about two weeks to restore all of them to good working condition but I'll never want for another file again in my whole life ! There's something quite rewarding about using tools that you saved from years of neglect or the scrap heap, well it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling anyway, lol.

Without cheating using Google, why is a bastard file called a bastard file?

That’s awesome HeadHunter, very rewarding for sure. I’m an engineer, work on high speed machinery to robots and conveyors(SCADA systems). So I have a roll cab I wheel about, back pack to for more tricky jobs or up in the roof/21m level(tower). Many here don’t care that much, bed spanners etc. For me I enjoy working more with decent tools. Have fluke stuff, Milwaukee draw, dewalt draw, ratchets and all kinds to torque wrenches(amazing how many engineers don’t even have those). One example Allen keys or hex keys which we all have used at some point on our air guns. Some imported from Japan the brand EIGHT , which are up there with the best. Also Swiss tools ones, then your more normal wera . I probably have 10 sets(not Inc ones at home). I loose a key, I can’t cope😂. Luckily now I can buy singles of that size. Not always an option years back. Can see some to left on this pic Milwaukee draw, basically for smaller stuff Not all as have much more, but 1/2 impact and drill (have 2x1/4 one work one home and a another drill at home. I could go on for ever😂 Cheers
