I handled one of these AK1's today in the shop. Lovely thing indeed. I am going to have one. Just don't know when. Cash flow is a bit weak at the moment. What can I sell to get one? Maybe my prized HW97K (fully tuned in a CS700 walnut stock). Decisions decisions. 97s in CS clothes go quick on the AGF, don't think you'd have any issues selling that on mate it's whether you can bare to lose it

Especially as I had this one full tuned by Shauny. I can out shoot quite a few PCP shooters at the club with this thing. Hardly any recoil and is so nice to shoot. Can I bare to lose it? That is the question mate.

Just watched the YouTube video you posted Andy, looks fantastic - love the adjustable stocks on the Crosman models. I wish that Sig had engineered something similar into the MCX/PX range

I have decided I can't sell that beautiful HW97K so I am going through my wifes jewelry box to see what I can sell.

When will you find another tuned 97 in a CS stock And when will you find another Crosman AK-1 ?? There`s your answer

That's why I am going through her jewelry that she doesn't really need.

Agree on that, I have a lovely TX200HC and it would be the last gun I sold

Having watched the review of this AK-1 on Pyramid air/you tube, I am a bit underwhelmed to be honest. Only 350 fps and not overly accurate. But for me, I am not keen on the looks...... it looks too slab sided for me. I am sure many will love it, but its not on my shopping list.
Pete.

Watched Airgun Detectives and they got an average of 451 fps and the accuracy looks good enough for me. Definitely on my shopping list.

I really like the looks of this but can also appreciate it might be a bit marmite in terms of looks.
I personally love the mixture of modern tactical combined with the classic lines of the AK family. I have found one available at a nearby RFD for £299 which seems reasonable, but I've also noticed the price of the Crosman R1 has been cut across most retailers and despite having the DPMS, I love that rifle and would love the R1 with the improved stock system 🤔
Decisions to be made!

Knowing you James, you won't be happy unless you have the R1 and the AK1 in your collection.

Lovely rifle. What’s it a replica of? The AK1 is a replica of the Russian AK1 David. You are not very knowledgeable. There is no such thing as a real AK-1
