Nice shooting Wild Bill , I've not had the pleasure out in the wild yet as I need to get down the range so I've been limited to test shots up to now. I will stand by you in the defence of the FDE colours, I really like them so I'm team FDE! Suck on this haters!

I think I need the proper looking Crosman R1 too. Something for the future.

But I have to say though James, this SIG is so much better made than any other modern military semi auto replica. It feels so good and the power is brilliant. I love it.

Agreed, although the DPMS is an excellent bit of kit. Not in the same league in terms of shooting etc. but has a bit more of a fun factor with the full take down, heavy mag and blowback.
Kind of like comparing an Umarex 8 shot 1911 with a KWC - both great but for different reasons. Price being a big indicator on the build quality too 👍🏻

I would have the Crosman R1 at the drop of a hat too. But I like the power of this SIG. It's a proper bean can shredder and no mistake.

I really like the magazine system, it's well thought out and works really smoothly. Just wish they would do a metal version 🤔

I have just ordered a spare magazine that comes with 3 extra belts. I find it quite therapeutic loading up the 30 round belts in preparation for a shoot. The magazines cycle much smoother than my previous SIG pistols chain mags used to do.

Oh and I have added modelling clay to the empty recesses of the mag now so that it feels heavier and more solid.

And now I have added modelling clay to my second magazine that turned up today. Hopefully do some shooting tomorrow as the weather has been atrocious here today.
