I could do with the KWC version for filming purposes as that's the only one I've seen that hasn't got lots of writing on the top slide like my Remington has and non-blowback because when filming's done and dusted my mates son will be having the gun and my Remington frightened him when he shot it. Mind you, he is only 48. (Only joking) but a non-blowback is what he's after.

......but.......if you haven't seen a non-blowback version of a KWC 1911 it makes me wonder if I'm mistaken and there isn't such a thing which, if your correct, makes sense as to why I can't find one! I may have to have a re-think.

The Colt Defender is a short version of the 1911 and is non-blowback bb pistol. It is functionally very basic, none of the controls work, I think even the hammer is dummy as it has one of these moving barrel mechanisms that acts as the actual firing mechanism.
All metal construction though, apart from the grips.

Many thanks for that. I've just had a re-look and found what I thought I'd seen; a KWC 1911 BB gun in non-blowback. It's on a dealers website so not sure if I can mention them or not. If a Mod say's I can i'll send the link.
P.S. Of course I can mention a dealer! What am I thinking! The gun I'm/we're after is on the SportsGuns website under 1911.
"KWC1911 NonBlowback .177 The 1911 nonblowback pistol from KWC. A full metal pistol with a 19 shot magazine that holds the co2 capsule and bbs. Firing a 4.5mm steel bb at 450 fps semi automatic. powered by a 12 gram co2 capsule and will fire up to 60 shots per fill,1/1 scale replica of this famous military pistol. Remember we deliver to your door in mainland England and Wales"

The very same Andy. They're not in stock at the moment and I can't find any other shop who has them. Mind you, I haven't looked at every shop so there must be one out there somewhere for sale.

Thanks HH. Not quite what they're after (they're a fussy lot these TV types! ) It's the 'ribs' on the front of the slide that's the deal breaker sadly but I appreciate the heads up.
