Oh boy have I been excited about this arriving! Years ago I got a game demo-disk with some cereal (!) for a game called Desperados - great demo, and was probably a great game but I didn't buy it. You controlled 4 Western characters, though in the demo you only got 3, who were essentially Clint Eastwood noname stranger, Lee van Cleef as every character he played, and a Lady who appeared weak and vulnerable, used that to seduce the bad man, and then like so many British tourists in Thailand, he finds out too late she has something extra under her skirts... In the game Desperados, she had the Remington 95 DD, and I fell in love with it as a crazy little gun. It was also favoured by assassins and was the pocket pistol used to do for old Abe Lincoln! And after CaptDAR posted about an airsoft version I had to hunt one down. Well today it arrived, a full-metal, chrome Remmy 95, 6 mm and powered by green gas. Here she is in all her glory - no bullets in this one, I can't seem to find inert .410 shorts online It's a fabulous feeling little gun, and easy to cock hammer, very pointable and you can actually hit stuff with it if you're within 3 paces... I have seen a modification that alters these so they'll take the ASG 6 mm cartridges, and I may look into it, but for now, I will keep it hidden in my back pocket when my mate next comes round, and when he isn't looking... shoot him in the arse!

Hunting for videos of how this operated as I type.
Very nice looking little replica.

It feels fantastic in the pocket, a really nice little collector item, and it was design before 1870, so an airsoft defence isn’t needed

That's just so kool I'd really love a CO2 4.5mm shell loading version, you could probably do it with one of those mini 8gm CO2 caplets. Q. Does it fire one barrel and then the other ? Or do both barrels fire at the same time ?

Now that's pretty cool, if you make a Derringer replica then it's got to fire one barrel then the other just like the real thing. My own curiosity towards how they managed to replicate that has got me interested though, did they use two valves ? Is it one valve with a twin feed that cuts one feed off to allow the other to fire ? I am not expecting you to take yours apart, lol, I'm just thinking out loud really, curiosity is a terrible affliction, lol. The original guns (by comparison) generally use a 'Maltese Cross' style of spigot for adjusting the position of the firing pin on every shot, rarer still there was even one four barrelled Derringer that had a rotating firing pin on the actual hammer face but I think that a four barrel Derringer is definitely getting into the realm of 'Pepper Pot' guns rather than a handily concealed, life saving twin shot Derringer.

I had a quick peek and I could only see one valve, so maybe that tells you something, but for £85 it’s a wonderful little gun

You are suppose to put it in your frilly thigh garter.

You are suppose to put it in your frilly thigh garter. I tried that earlier but it kept slipping out. The fact I was covered in baby oil probably didn't help...* *This is not true

I'd love a Lee Van Cleef style sleeve holster like he had in For a Few Dollars More, although it's quite a heavy replica If I shot my Mrs with one, the cost would be too high, no matter how funny it would be... Genuinely though, I am so happy with this little gun, it looks great, feels great, and shooting it is so satisfying. I'd be tempted to go to airsoft just in the hope that I'd get the chance to shoot someone with it

You need a special flick out frame that goes up the sleeve of your jacket. That way the pistolette shoots out ready to shoot.
